How it works

- Choose a strength: strong for screen viewing, light if it may be printed.

Frequently asked questions
- Can I still select text afterwards?
- Raster compression turns pages into images, so no. Choose 'Optimise structure only' to keep text — savings are smaller.
- Why did it barely shrink?
- The file was already optimised or is mostly text. Try a lower resolution.
Is my file safe?
Yes. This tool never sends your file to a server. The program runs on your device inside the browser, and the result is created right there. When you close the page, everything is cleared from memory and no record is kept.
